Chicken Spaghetti Recipe

Tonight I made chicken spaghetti for dinner.  The ooey, gooey cheesiness of this dish makes it one of my go-to comfort dishes.

Just look at that cheese!

My favorite version of this dish is from self-made chef Ree Drummond, better known as Pioneer Woman on the Food Network.

Her recipe can be found at the following link: Ree Drummond's Chicken Spaghetti

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Where to Eat Near Lonestar-CyFair

I recently began the daunting task of going back to school, At Lone Star College - Cy Fair.  It's a great school!  Considering that I'll be spending a lot of time there in the coming future, I took a little time to peruse my food options in the area, should I forget to bring a snack one day.

Just a short drive north of campus there are a number of fast food and sit-down eateries that will be sure to satisfy any hungry college student or soccer mom in the neighborhood.

My personal favorite is the newly-opened Mod Pizza.  While you can expect a bit of a wait for the made-to-order pizzas (think Chipotle) during peak hours, it is well worth the time spent in line for one of these beauties:

For a sneak peak at the menu, check out their Web site here.

There is also a cafe on campus that I hear has some tasty edibles.  Be looking for a post in the future regarding the LSC-CF Cafe.

Oh, Hello!

Oh, hello! Welcome to Eat Something, a space dedicated to food and all of its wonder.

From its creamy, whipped peaks to its melty centers, food is a delight and deserves to be worshipped. I aim to do that here. From a very young age I fell in love with food -- mostly savory dishes. Mac n cheese. Mashed potatoes. Fried chicken. Pasta.

All of these carbs are probably the main reason why I get winded everytime I jog up to my third-floor apartment, but I digress. This blog is a safe space, away from fat-free, taste-free foods!

I love to dine out, but cooking is like therapy to me. The entire process, from searching for a recipe to finally sitting down to a warm plate of home-cooked food, is a simple joy, especially when I get to share this meal with other people.  What better way to share a meal with people all across the world than to start a blog about it?

On this blog you will find recipes that I have tried and loved, as well as reviews of restaurants around the city of Houston and abroad that I have visited.

Bon appetit!
